本日、迫市長とアブドゥラフモノフ・ムフシンクジャ駐日ウズベキスタン共和国特命全権大使との面談に同席させていただきました！
小樽で外国人に特化した人材紹介及び支援を行う合同会社ダルフィンインターナショナル（金宗有美代表）とはこれまで何度も意見交換を重ねて参りましたが、このたびご縁をいただき、同社の顧問（国際戦略担当）を拝命いたしました。
ウズベキスタンは私が経済産業省欧州課に在籍していた2014年8月、茂木経済産業大臣（当時）の訪問に同行した思い出のある国です。
アブドゥラフモノフ・ムフシンクジャ駐日ウズベキスタン共和国特命全権大使は小樽商科大学に在籍されたご縁もあり、この度小樽市を公式訪問されました。金宗代表とともに同席の機会をいただきました。
面談では、ウズベキスタンへの投資促進や人材交流について活発な意見交換が行われ、僭越ながら私からも過去の訪問経験を踏まえて発言させていただきました。
なお、現在、在ウズベキスタン日本大使館の経済班長は経産省の同僚である川島 晋太郎さんです。
このご縁も活かしながら、「ウズベキスタンと小樽をつなぐ新しい対流の形」を模索してまいりたいと思います。
Today, I had the privilege of attending a meeting between Mayor Hazama of Otaru City and H.E. Mr. Mukhsinkhja Abdurakhmonov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Japan.
I have long exchanged ideas with Ms. Ami KANEMUNE, President of DARFFIN INTERNATIONAL LLC, a company based in Otaru specializing in recruitment and support services for foreign nationals.
I am honored to announce that I have recently been appointed as the company’s Advisor for International Strategy.
Uzbekistan holds a special place in my career. In August 2014, while serving at the Europe Division of Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), I accompanied then-Minister Toshimitsu MOTEGI on his official visit to Uzbekistan.
Ambassador Abdurakhmonov, who once studied at Otaru University of Commerce, visited Otaru this time, and I had the pleasure of joining the meeting alongside Ms. KANEMUNE.
The discussion covered a wide range of topics, including investment promotion and human resource exchange between Uzbekistan and Japan, and I was grateful for the opportunity to share my past experiences in Uzbekistan.
Incidentally, my former METI colleague Mr. Shintaro KAWASHIMA now serves as Head of the Economic Section at the Embassy of Japan in Uzbekistan.
Leveraging these valuable connections, I hope to explore a new form of dynamic exchange between Uzbekistan and Otaru.
